I had an overall wonderful time at Henrietta House, with its excellent breakfast selection and truly accommodating staff. However, the size of the small double rooms felt a bit cramped, which might not suit everyone’s needs. Despite that, the charming location made it easy for me to explore Bath easily, enhancing my experience in this lovely city.

Rooms

I found my small double room to have everything for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed and thoughtful amenities like homemade biscuits and bottled water. However, it felt a bit tight for space, especially without much room for clothing storage.
Service

The service at Henrietta House was really good—friendly staff welcomed me with coffee and cake upon arrival and were happy to offer assistance with local recommendations and even book restaurant reservations for me.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Bath's attractions while being situated on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, which I really appreciated.

Breakfast was a highlight of my stay, with a good array of fresh options, including homemade goods and a lovely juice of the day. The staff were attentive and made the dining experience quite enjoyable.
Facilities

While the hotel had nice amenities like a self-service bar, my room shared space in a building a short walk away from the main hotel, which was a bit inconvenient, especially in rainy weather.

My stay at Henrietta House was a mixed bag. The location was superb, nestled on a quiet street just a short stroll from the city center. However, my room was far from ideal, as it felt cramped and lacked basic amenities like air conditioning. I appreciated the friendly staff and the breakfast options, but the overall experience didn't meet the expectations of a four-star hotel.

Rooms
5.0
My room was cramped, lacking basic comforts and proper maintenance. It felt more like a single than a double.
Service

Staff were friendly and accommodating. They were quick to assist with any concerns I had, although my room issues went unresolved.
Location

Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options. I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked meals and homemade cookies.

While the self-service bar was a nice touch, the lack of a lounge area made the hotel feel more like a B&B than a full hotel.

Staying at Henrietta House was a good experience, with its charming Georgian architecture and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to assist with any needs. However, I did find the room quite warm during the daytime, which impacted my comfort a bit.

Rooms

I stayed in the garden room, which felt like a mini apartment with a beautiful private terrace. The decor was modern yet in keeping with the house's style, and the bed was super comfortable. However, the heating took a while to warm up and could use clearer instructions for operation.
Service
10.0
The staff were absolutely fantastic. Especially Olaf and Illi, who helped me with local recommendations and even sorted out a minor heating issue. They really made the stay special, always with a friendly smile.
Location

I loved the quiet yet central location. Just a short, picturesque walk into the heart of Bath. It was convenient for exploring all the main attractions, which I appreciated immensely.
Dining

Breakfast was truly excellent, with a variety of options including a delicious Welsh rarebit I enjoyed. It was a bit disappointing that the quality of items like the coffee and juice didn't quite match the overall standard of the breakfast fare.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like quality toiletries and the self-service bar which enhanced my relaxing evenings. However, it would be nice if the rooms had a few more basics like hooks for coats.

I had a mixed experience at Henrietta House. The location was awesome for exploring Bath, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I ran into a few issues with cleanliness in my room and the breakfast service, which detracted from the experience.

Rooms
6.0
My room was well-furnished but had some cleanliness issues, like dust and hair in the bathroom. Plus, a few more hooks would have been handy to hang up my coat.
Service

While some staff members were really friendly and attentive, others felt unapproachable during breakfast. It was a bit hit or miss.
Location

The location was perfect—just a short walk across the bridge to the city center, making it super easy to explore the main sights.
Dining

Breakfast had a nice variety, but the service was a bit slow, and some of the food was cold. I also wish there’d been a bit more selection without restrictions.
Facilities

The hotel had a cozy vibe with comfy seating areas, but I noticed a few maintenance issues, like creaky doors that could use some oil.

I had a good stay at Henrietta House in Bath, thanks to its ideal location just a short walk from the main attractions. The warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. My room was cozy, albeit a bit small for a couple, but perfect for my solo escape. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh and hearty options, though I did encounter a minor issue during my stay with housekeeping that detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms

My single room was cozy and well-decorated, though slightly small for two. The bathroom was spacious and had above-average toiletries, which I appreciated.
